Any registered APHL player who is not currently signed to a team may submit a tryout request. Players already under contract must be released before requesting a tryout.

Each tryout is open for 48 hours. If no team selects you within the window, your tryout expires automatically. You must wait 48 hours after an expired tryout before reapplying.

All GMs can view open tryouts and submit scouting reports rating your skills across 8 categories. These reports are private to league staff and help GMs decide who to select.

Any GM with roster space may select a tryout player. Selection is binding — once a GM selects you, they must send a contract offer within 24 hours or the selection is voided.

All players must represent themselves honestly in their tryout. Misrepresenting your skill level, platform, or availability may result in contract nullification and suspension.
