How are Power Rankings calculated?
Every racing team gets a score from 0 to 100 from the races already run. Each car a team enters counts, so teams with more drivers are not favoured. Staff can then move a team and add a short note before a weekly edition is published.
- Average finish (30%): How far up the field the team's cars finish, race after race (every car counts).
- Recent form (25%): Last 5 races, newest counts most.
- Points per entry (15%): Championship points earned per car entered.
- Wins and top 5s (10%): Share of entries that finish in the top 5; a win counts double.
- Clean finishes (5%): How often the cars are still running at the end (no crash, engine failure, quit or disconnect).
- Team rating (prestige) (15%): The league's own race-prestige rating for the team in this series. Skipped automatically if nobody has one yet.
Early in the season every team is nudged toward the middle so one race does not swing the table. The little badges show the best finish in each of the last five races (green = win, amber = top 10).
